1. Waverly Restaurant and Lounge

We used to live in Cardiff! Such a sweet little beach town and we walked everywhere! Sad we missed it while we lived there, but happy it’s here now!
Easy brunch: Avocado toast and the Kingston Cold Brew! Alcohol and Caffeine and I’m ready to go home and clean and organize my house on a Sunday!
2. ALCE 101‑ Kitchen + Tequileria
Must start with Mezcal. The “wolf” is a drink I salivate for... You know my Lone Wolf Ring is one of my fav designs ever, so when I saw this drink, (it also has coconut,) I was dead.
Give me all the corn here. The cornbread appetizer with the Corn Chowder. They have some spice which I am ALL ABOUT, and then I finish with the Scottish Salmon.
Let’s also talk about ambience here. Indoor/outdoor vibes with some cozy blankets on chairs out front. The best place for any evening!

We are now in Leucadia and my fav spot to have dinner is just down the street! Meet Valentina!
I feel like I’m transported to Europe when I eat here. The food quality is impeccable, and I love to order lots of small bites and chow down!
Here’s my order:
You absolutely must try the Roasted Carrots! I’m a spicy girl and this has heat but not spice! It’s the cumin in the butter; I may have licked the plate before!
You must get the Fresh Baguette to dip in the left-over carrot sauce, the Mixed Olives, and the Spanish Sashimi. I like to add room for desert and finish my meal with The Basque Cake. It has become my favorite desert of the past year!
I like to drink red wine with this meal
and the list changes so ask your server! You will not be disappointed!
